This place went down hill. Use to be so good . Hoagie roll was hard ,did not have vinegar for a italian hoagie... got a ham a cheese and didnt get the cheese .

The taste of the food here is great. Fresh cut lunch meats for your sandwiches done right in front of you. The prices are extremely low for the amount of food you get. Usually enough for 2 lunches with the size of a large Italian for $7.

They have huge portions and great food here. They have been there forever and very popular because you can't be the quality or quantity of the food you get. They have a traditional layout and they are offering a lot of groceries now because of Covid I highly recommend it to try. Call ahead they are packed.

Their hoagies are so delicious and full of meat and they're a great price! I tried their chicken salad hoagie for the first time and now I'm obsessed, it was so good! The customer service is great too, always pleasant. Definitely recommend. Don't be surprised if there's a line, their usually busy but always quick.

There deli is great unfortunately the chicken soup in not home made but the vegetable soup is great. Please make homemade chicken soup not restaurant bought.

The hoggies are still very good but they are mask Nazis and very passive aggressive about it. I called ahead and ordered my food and they told me to wait in line then and I told them to eat it and got served somewhere else that are not strict on mandatory mask. It's not even a law and they are enforcing it like crazy. I will never come here again even though the food is decent I will never forget how they made me feel. I hope it's worth it because I frequently order from there but I will hold a grudge because they just might spit in my food so the bridge is burnt. I will never go back.

I’ll only go to Durham for my meats, sandwiches, and cheeses. The Deli is very generous with their portions and it’s worth the money and long lines (on Saturdays especially). Great prices, Amazing people, and quality food!

Durham Deli is one of the best places around to get hoagies and sandwiches. You can make a 2nd sandwich with the amount of meat put on them & they use fresh veggies as well! I definitely recommend going here😀
